1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ArXiv Intelligence ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

ArXiv Intelligence is a research intelligence platform that provides:

• AI-powered analysis of scientific papers from arXiv
• Collaborative features including comments and discussions
• Media generation capabilities (images, audio, video)
• Project organization and research management tools
• User profiles and social features

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and identification
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Innovative Intelligent Platforms and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create, post, or share on the Service. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate analyses, summaries, and media content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• You should verify important information independently
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content
• AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranties

7. Credit System

The Service operates a credit system for certain features. You understand that:

• Credits may be consumed when using certain features
• Credit balances are non-refundable
• We reserve the right to modify the credit system at any time
• Purchased credits never expire - credits you buy are yours to keep and use indefinitely
• Free daily credits reset daily and do not accumulate

8. Consumer Right to Cancel

If you are a Consumer and unless the below exception applies, you have the right to cancel this Agreement and return the Product within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day after completion of the Transaction. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send us your communication concerning your exercise of the cancellation right before the expiration of the 14 day period.

To cancel your order, you must inform Paddle of your decision. To ensure immediate processing, please do so by contacting us here. Please note that in respect of subscription services your right to cancel is only present following the initial subscription and not upon each automatic renewal.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to Google (for authentication and AI services), Firebase, and arXiv. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of any content

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL INNOVATIVE INTELLIGENT PLATFORMS, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Innovative Intelligent Platforms and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• We may delete your account and all associated data
• All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ukraine.
