Abstract
This research explores additional symmetries within the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) and modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (mKP) hierarchies, and their connections to Virasoro constraints applied to the Burgers-Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) hierarchy. These findings deepen our understanding of integrable hierarchies and their underlying algebraic structures, with potential for theoretical advancements in nonlinear wave phenomena.
